This site contains plans for one of my current projects, tentatively titled "After the Deluge." This project encompasses an earlier series, 'Receptacles for Water,' that has been adapted to work in conjunction with the installation.

Both series ultimately deal with isolation in excess, leisure and commodity and the attempted subjugation of nature. A complete statement is available in addition to high resolution files of all images on this site.

The project is well under way, but two additional pieces will most likely be a part of the final inception. A long, scroll-like painting (approximately 10" x 300") and a video aquarium. I will include initial stills and studies for those pieces as well.

LEFT: Twenty-three 'After the Deluge' paintings which are watercolor, oil and encaustic on paper.

Painting dimensions vary in multiples of: 15" x 11", 7 1/2" x 11", and 5 1/2" x 7 1/2"

Also shown are two of the wall-mounted sculptures - plaster, watercolor, oil and encaustic. Approximately 4" in diameter. Studies for the floor sculpture are shown below.

The ultimate installation will activate more of the gallery wall space and include additional sculptural components.

Please see details and the installation sketches below
